I think you're safe G, too many teams below you not playing well. I always think goal difference is a good indicator.

In my waking moments I also believe that, or at least dream that. Our next game is at home against Huddersfield, who are below us in the table. If we start like we did against Southampton then we may hear the fat lady flexing her vocal chords. Our loan signing from Leicester may be fit to play by then.

What a difference a month makes. 41 points with a few games to go and even beating Arsenal. Even Rafa believes we are safe. Burnley are pushing for a European place.

Just leaving Madeira, been twice this season and Burnley have won four games while we have been here. I need to move here, we'll win the Prem then. Glad you're safe G. Got to feel for darling beryl though.

As a Newcastle fan it is difficult to feel too sorry for Sunderland, but I will try. Anyway I am sure they will bounce back.

You're right, big clubs usually bounce back, Coventry aside.

Good luck today Chris, Cambridge got off the mark yesterday with their first win, Wrexham have 7 points from 9 ...so a good start. Newcastle did their usual and lost.....sorry Giscard, .....the season starts here...... icon_yo
We the willing, led by the unknown, are doing the impossible, for the ungrateful. we have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything ....................with nothing,

1:2 was probably not too bad against Spurs. Shame that Ashley prefers to spend money on High Street shops rather than a football club.

I would have taken the point before kick off but apparently we were all over them for 70 mins and wrongly had a goal disallowed for offside. At least our ex-players Austin and Ings didn't score against us.
