 You'll are given a plane ticket for anywhere in the world, open ended and fifty grand in any currency you like, also a new passport for any country in the world. Where would you go, and what would you do?

I wouldn't go on a plane anyway. I would need a lot more than 50 grand.

If it's a Boeing - I'm not going.
Brexit is like watching your library being burnt down by people who never learned to read.

Ignoring the miserable buggers above ;) it would be New Zealand for me. Beyond my budget now but I've always fancied it and hiring a bike to tour the islands.

New Zealand or Canada - seen a bit of both and want to see much more.
Ski in the winter and grow chillies and be a jobbing gardener in the summer. Just like now!
Mountains are for riding up and skiing down!

It is possible to get to New Zealand by ship.

If it was just to visit , it would be the States - do the usual stuff, Daytona, Sturgis , Route 66, one of the big swap meets, a couple of model car shows, buy lots of goodies, and then there would be know money left.

If it was to live, I would stay just where I am and spend the money on an old American car, a couple of old bikes, then I would squander the rest.
Any bike with three cylinders has one too many.....................

I'd be 5/6 bikes lengths behind Wizzard and just as skint at the end of it......

Perhaps Argentina or back to the Cook Islands. I've done a lot of travelling but the one that got away was Antarctica. One ticket for Tierra del Fuego please... :)
Yes there are two paths you can go down, but in the long run, there's still time to change the road you're on...
