it may be faster getting a 6 month ban and being forced to surrender your UK licence,

Got mine last year. Took 4 weeks.
I had the Marie send it off for me.

I would think yours has gone AWOL.

They seem to be taking at least a year at the moment so nothing to worry about yet. Since the system switched to applying through Nantes it has taken much longer.

My OH put her request in for a licence around 3 months ago - yesterday she got an email request for documentation.

That’s interesting Wizz. I was talking to someone on New Year’s Day who was saying that British applications are only processed on one day a week. They might explain why an Irish passport holder gets their paperwork processed faster.

Good theory David, but Amanda applied as a UK passprt holder and its a UK licence with UK address. I think, as usual, just the luck of the draw. She has been waiting for her CdS for a while though, with no response despite chasing emails.

I did the postal application for one for a neighbour back in November. Heard back yesterday ( query regarding a category).
Did a postal for someone else in September. He got the mail to confirm his is ready just before XMAS.

FRENCH LICENCE

Posted mine off end of August and got an email on Friday asking if I could send a medical report in, this apparently is if you want to keep all of the categories on your license! If you don't want to keep them all it just says let us know and you don't need a medical?
Has anyone else had this? Not bothered about keeping 7.5 tonne but still need to tow a trailer with a car, and of course the bike. Very confused about
Cat A on the gov site!
