Putting the feelers out

Post by MikeC » Wed Jun 27, 2018 6:31 am

Hi, a brief on me as a newbie to this forum. Been in France for 12 years down in the Aude near carcassonne. Had bikes all the time, but had period where due to an illness I lost my confidence with my balance. Much better now and building a collection of new and old bikes. Current list stands at:
2 Yamaha TY 175’s, loads to do
Yamaha XT 500, complete but tatty.
Triumph T100 2015, crash repaired.
Triumph Scrambler 2015, stolen repaired.
BMW R nine T 2017
Do you have meets, rideouts ?
Love to know
Cheer
MikeC

icon_Hi ya! and icon_welcom to BCF. We are a member led club and rely on individuals to suggest meet ups or ride outs. It’s all gone a bit quiet recently, in my area more and more readers are relying on FaceBook pages for their meets. A shame. Why not suggest something locally and see if you get any interest.

icon_yo Mike and welcome. We are not that far from Carcassonne although to the east by some 100ks. If you are in the south east of the Aude then a ride out is in our range. Just the one bike for us, Yamaha Divi 900s of 1997. Presently on 77500 miles and still going strong. Mike R

Hi Mike, if you head up the Pyrenees towards La Mongie drop me a line and I'll bake a cake!

well, what a great collection of messages, thank you to all of you - and yes it does sound like a venue is needed to prise us all out of air conditioned cars and back into sweaty leathers..! Unfortunately I can’t make the meet in Dournazac on the 22nd of July as I have to be in Bezier. keep thinking, there is bound to be something even maybe later in the september october time
Cheers to all - MikeC
