"Local" trip to Majorca.

Post by divimike » Mon May 14, 2018 8:34 pm

Decided to start the summer touring with a short trip around Majorca. Ferry from Toulon on 2nd June and return on 8th. Staying in same hotel in Port Polença as no where is that far away so should get to cover most of the roads, especially in the NW which looks most twisty! Any recommendations?

Never been there, but seeing this post just might give it a try. Thanks for the idea.

Never been either but those ferry prices are very tempting!
Mountains are for riding up and skiing down!

"Local" trip to Majorca.

I went my honeymoon to Majorca - a very, very long time ago. On the bus in from the airport to the hotel we spotted beach buggies for hire at a reasonable price, so I nipped back later to hire one. The sticker price was just to get you in the door - with all the extras I couldnt afford to hire one, but did hire a Yammy triallie instead. My wife refused to go on the back, so I had a great time scampering about on the loose roads around the island.  :dirtbike :dirtbike

Just finalised on the hotel. It says it is for adults only with a bohemian atmosphere. I like the first bit, but not sure what is included in the second!
Well Wizzard, our honeymoon was in Ibiza, also a long time ago, but decided it was a bit small to do much riding, so Majorca was the next best choice.
For Stella and Yorkie, a report will follow with pictures, so you maybe more than tempted; or not.
