Where in the world?

Looks very Spanish to me. I swear I have seen that church roof before but I can't remember where; certainly the buildings remind me of the ones I saw last week.

Yes Pierre, it is in Spain. I think the church roof is glazed tiles, I've seen a few in Spain.

It's an old photo taken on slide film in low winter light so possibly the pink colour has been a bit exaggerated.

What area of Spain were you in last week ?

Sorry about the delay in replying, loads of acres to mow after a short holiday in Spain, we went to Valencia and Zaragoza ending up in Barcelona, then home again. Mind you with my memory it could have been on a trip to Spain a few years back as well or even because my wife likes to research travel guides on the places that we are going to visit. It was mainly the houses that got me because having had a barn roof and a house roof changed I have become a bit of an anorak on tiles!!

It's Albarracin in Aragon, Spain. You were certainly in that area Pierre, it's not far from Teruel which is on the road between Valencia and Zaragozza.

It's ages since I went there in an old home-build campervan, 2003 I think. Always meant to go back and spend more time exploring that area, preferably on a bike .

Well that explains it, the good lady has confirmed that she had put a brochure with it under my nose when we were eating lunch nearby, but we didn't have time to go there since we had a date with a nice comfy hotel!!

So for those in the know...

Is that Fillon's gaff in Sarthe? Château de Beaucé?
There is more going on with his dodgy finances, and him claiming it's worth less in order to dodge taxes or something..,

I really thought that this would be too straightforward for words.
