I'm in the process of moving to Germany and sorting out the health cover is a pain. Not from the German end as I have a social security number and pension from there, but getting RSI to provide the Germans with what should be an SO41 is proving to be difficult.
The have sent me a questionnaire to obtain an S1 though, so some progress.
The Germans seem to realise the French are not "up to speed" and said that that will be OK.
The UK is also going to provide a "statement of contributions", so I'm hoping it will all pan out OK :D

Auf weidersehen Jamba
Ta :D
Going back to an area called the Odenwald. Some of the best and smoothest tarmac I know of.
Its a place, best avoided a weekends as there are so many bikes out. Strangely, I only know one biker in that area.
