Football Whoohoo!

That was hard work, the scoreline flattering England's unimaginative performance. Still, 3 points and a 4+ goal difference, just what we needed.

Good result for Scotland against Lithuania also in the same group. We all go again on Monday, the England v Slovakia match being shown on ITV again. This one could be the group winner decider. Hopefully Sothgate will get this one right.

You sound like darlingberyl, don't you disappear too, I'll end up talking to myself! Besides you stuffed West Ham which shows promise.

I will still be here. I just despair at how Ashley and his drinking pals run the club and deal with transfers. All it will do is drive Benitez away.

Good wins for us and Newcastle but ours was a bit lucky by all accounts. It took us to the heady heights of 7th in the Prem. If only we could stay there. I suspect Anfield next week will be a reality check, Klopp will want a good result after that 5-0 drubbing at City.

Yes a good weekend for us both. Our squad is still frail but every few points could keep us in the top flight. Stoke at home next. Isn't your keeper injured for months. Still it saves Liverpool the trouble of doing it, said a cynic.
