A bit quiet on here but things going reasonably well with Newcastle now top and Burnley hanging in there for Prem survival. Grimsby and Cambridge mid table and Wrexham a healthy 10th so no excitement for Gwyn. Not looking too good for Whitehawk though if dwl still following them on here? We seem to have lost our other North East friends and my fellow Lancastrian, wildrover.
Yes Newcastle are still hanging in there but Huddersfield are chipping away at us. Good point for Burnley against Chelsea at the weekend. Yes it has gone quiet on here. I feel like the last outpost of North Eastern football, unless Darling Beryl is applying for Newcastle citizenship.

Wow, did not see that one coming..........Lincoln 1-0 Burnley, so out of the cup, unlucky mate, we are 1-0 down as well at the moment,

My boys are pleased. The Lincoln manager is their old PE teacher.

It's history repeating itself. Burnley were the first top flight club to be beaten by a non league team in 1975 when Wimbledon also won 1-0 at the Turf.

Come on you Sutton!

(that will almost certainly be the first and last time I ever type that)

Post Match:
Ah well, it was a good dream. I thought they played pretty well considering. A great advert for the FA Cup. Listening to precious Arsenal's mithering about the pitch and the proper tackling etc was funny. Go Lincoln!

It was a good match, Sutton had their chances and it was good that the ref gave them a bit of leeway in some of their over exhuberent tackles which wasn't appreciated by some of the Arsenal prima donnas. A consolation goal would have been deserving. After having been beaten by Lincoln it would make my day if they won it (or at least diminish our embarrassment) so I say too "Go Lincoln!"

Enjoyed the game. Shame they didn't score, although the shot that smacked Arsenals crossbar was very close. However at least Lincoln are still in it, if only I could remember who they beat in the previous round. :D
Also Haway the Lads, top of the Championship again. :)

That slipped under the radar, not a good week for claret and blue teams then, congratulations, it's now in your own hands as they say/cliché .
