Does sound like fun but would be better if they capped spending or brought in better financial controls to prevent teams spending money they haven't got in the hope of future rewards in a higher division. I love football but the money thrown around is obscene. Mind you if that obscene money was thrown in Burnley's direction I may quite happily adopt double standards.

Burnley 19% possession, 2 shots on target. result 2-0. As Mr. Punch says, "That's the way to do it!"

Well done Burnley. Probably the result of the day. Certainly left a few Liverpool supporters shaking their heads after effectively being mugged.

Another win for Newcastle despite not playing particularly well :)

Cambridge only have 2 draws so far.........2nd from the bottom at this early stage,
We the willing, led by the unknown, are doing the impossible, for the ungrateful. we have done so much, for so long, with so little, we are now qualified to do anything ....................with nothing,

Wrexham drawing too but mid table. Grimsby a bit more grim. Not a good day to be a Mackem either. Whenever I see Bill and gerry football is not up for discussion. icon_no

I'm starting to enjoy the Championship. Rafa has a good squad and he is rotating them well, with competition throughout the team for places. A 0:6 win at QPR last night was the icing on the cake so far this season. Although the Championship is not as lucrative as the Premiership I do prefer to follow a team that is playing well and winning. Long may it continue :D

I know what you mean Giscard. I followed Burnley down to the old fourth division and saw them almost relegated to non league footie. But then we won the 4th div and it felt great. Watching Burnely win the Championship is much better than seeing them get relegated from the Prem. where our best aspirations are just to survive a season.
