I had the same idea about 4 wheels Andy.
Tbh, I bought this for my Dad to ride when he comes to visit, he's 83 and still rides his Sunbeam S8 at home but he's only got little legs and all my bikes are to big for him these days.
I was looking for something around 250cc but stumbled on this Rebel 125 at our local Honda dealer.
It's 22 years old and covered 2,000km from new.
Having been in a garage since the last insurance ran out 12 years ago it needed tyres, battery, and a full service, the invoice for which was 560 euros,,,,,,,,,,,,,
and then the owner realised he couldn't ride it without doing the training course (no insurance for the last 5 years) so he asked them to sell it.
At 1100 euro it seemed rude not to,,,,,,,,,,, it looks and feels like a new bike.
If we stick to the lanes around here 80kph will be enough for him anyway,,,,,,,,,,,,,

It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than ride a fast bike slow,,,,,,,,,,,,,, icon_moped
