Scam warning. Twice lately I've been approached by the same french person in response to an advert for a bike part on Leboncoin. The first time he offered more than the asking price, but I already had a buyer. The second time he negotiated a price, said the cheque would be in his parents name, not his, and said he posted it last Saturday. On Sunday he asked me to post the part on Monday. When I told him I would send the part on the day the cheque arrived, he kicked off a bit and said he would send me a photo of the cheque (odd that, when he had already sent it). Monday he was back on asking if I'd sent the part, and if I'd received his cheque. When I repeated that I wouldnt send it until I got the cheque he demanded that I send it that day. Its Thursday, still no cheque, and he isnt chasing. He was hoping I would send the part without the cheque, which I dont believe he has sent. BEWARE.
