Is it not because the idiots are spending all the money on tech instead of manpower?
Up from 2.6 billion in 2010 to 3.8.
6 years ago we did a massive 4 part study for Home Office/Met police;
1. Strategy ( national/ international)
2. Organisation and tactics ( including communications and chains of command/tactical decision making
3. Manpower and deployment
4. Tech and equipment

Given the results of London Bridge; the Met have done almost everything we suggested on Org and tactics. As an outside observer now, I could clearly see the effect of better tactics, and particularly the organisation and incident control.
Home office ignored most of the strategy recommendations.
Met agreed on manpower and deployment; Home office ignored it
They have taken some of the tech ideas; but we believed they had chosen to prioritise the wrong tech stuff.

Yes.
By email and on her twitter feed.
And a copy to my friend who works in the cabinet office. I have no doubt she will "accidentally" pass it round

Now that's how she failed, apparently.......!

Lots of media amongst the 'young' voters. Political tweets, Canary etc.....

Soap box and knocking on doors is old hat but she didn't know that.......

Noticable that some of the members here have picked up on it too.......

Yes; social meedja played a big part; connecting voters, but also Corbyn did real rallies, with 1000s of people there too. Proper old fashioned stuff. Not locked in a room with 20 selected party members.

It's just where the sway went JS.

Promising to abolish Uni fees...... and who is really on the cutting edge of media tech at the moment? Great promise.

(I think all young people should have the benefit of an open door to study for the benefit of the future. Unfortunately that has not been the view of pay for everything UK for the past decade.)

I shouldn't comment perhaps, I don't have a vote in the UK so just an opinion.

However Sunday is our day to have our say in the open Macron version of politics. :|
