Cheap folding workbench LIDL

Post by papasmurf » Mon Apr 24, 2017 5:14 pm

I went to out local LIDL today, they had a seriously cheap (£13) folding work bench like a "Workmate" (ish).
As LIDL sells the same thing at the same time in all their branches it should be available in France.
It is a Destroy It Your self project to assemble it. (I only found the "destructions" after I had put it together.)

Of course now I find it on video:-

I bought one some years ago - great value, but I found the bracing struts to be incredibly thin and easily buckled. In saying that, I gave it to a mate and its still in use.
Any bike with three cylinders has one too many.....................

You are only supposed to put a maximum of 100kgs on it.

An hour to two hours to assemble it?? Maybe he'd have found it quicker if he'd had a workbench
The older I get, the faster I was.
