ANTS Request. Help Needed

Analogue speedo but has km digits as well from the factory. Left dipping headlight as stated on CoC.
I'll try searching again as I'm sure someone on here went to Triumph La Rochelle for help, although When I went, I got a lot of shoulder shrugging.

Don't know if it's relevant,,,,,,,
but when I brought a 2002 Harley over from UK I had to get an attestation from HD France to say speedo read both, and that I had changed the headlight. The local dealer in Le Mans checked the bike and sent the form off to HD France (cost 150 euro though,,,,,,,).
Might not be relevant, because 2002 is too old for a CoC, which is why I needed the attestation.
Incidentally, I've just registered (end of last year) a Sportster through the ANTS system, the CoC clearly said that the bike conformed to all regulations for countries that drive on the left,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, nobody queried it.
I've previously done a couple through the prefecture with the same wording, again, nobody questioned it.
It's more fun to ride a slow bike fast than ride a fast bike slow,,,,,,,,,,,,,, icon_moped

Do you know that there is a problem with the CoC and the lights/speedo or are you anticipating a problem?

The reference to the lights and speedo is on the bottom of the CoC. I have messaged ANTS to ask if an attestation regarding these to issues being fixed will allow the application to progress. Their answer.......... send one and we'll let you know.
2cv, still relevant as an attestation may suffice.

I have had similar problems with my BMW and my wife's Triumph. The problem is that your UK COC does not have the correct code for use in France although it is probably identical to those sold in France. You will need to visit a French Triumph dealer who will attest that your headlamp dips correctly and that your speedometer reads in Km/h. Once that is done, Triumph France will issue an attestation that the bike conforms carrying the correct code.

It makes very little sense but it is much easier to play the game by French rules than to try to get round them.

Thanks Exprop. I've been to Triumph La Rochelle for that very reason. They checked the bike over and took all the relevant details and said they'd contact me the following week. I returned after 2 weeks and the information was still on the desk in the showroom. I'll leave it another couple of weeks but I won't be surprised to be then be hunting for a different dealer.

After 5 1/2 months I received a text today from Triumph La Rochelle, to inform me that my new CoC had finally arrived from Triumph France.
I picked it up this afternoon and have sent it immediately to ANTS. Watch this space, although I'm expecting to have been "timed out" or there be some other reason to have to start again. Fingers crossed.
Someone on a blue Triumph Sprint also had the pleasure of receiving theirs today. I didn't get to say hello, but saw the bike leaving the dealers.

Thanks Pierre, a good article and the last paragraph says it all really.
However, his words appear to have fallen on deaf ears, for within days of this statement the Prime Minister, Edouarde Philppe, announced an ambitious reform of the machinery of government, including" "un nouveau service public du numérique."
Never mind that it doesn't work, we'll just push on with the plan.

As for my Cartes Grise, still no word :D
