Thanks wizard, looked on the FFVE site,my french is ok but struggling a bit,is it all done via the internet ? Coeurdelion
I did my last FFVE application earlier this year, via the post. They were talking about it ging online in the future. The process is easy - a basic form to fill in, a copy of a few docs , and a few pics of the bikes. Certainly less than an hour's work.

If you are waiting for a response from FFVE it takes months nowadas, rather than weeks. The are being swamped with applications.

Thanks for the reply, luckily in no rush as its too cold to paint at the moment so just doing other bits and the cafe racer, same with the French driving licence, spoke to them and they have the applications but said to be patient because of the back log.coeurdelion

Bit of a lack of communication between me and the wife ,thought she had sent off to FFVE but went to somewhere else instead so got a FFVE form today for the kettle ,looks straight forward enough but see what happens, think I will have to get some sort of insurance even though she's not road ready yet or will be for a few months .coeurdelion

That's all you can do for now. Kick back and a have a beer. Things weedle their way through eventually (French paperwork I'm referring to, not the beer... though that does too!)

Fingers crossed for you. And merry Christmas!

No rush as I've yet to do the paintwork but thought I would get the wheels in motion so to speak, probably get it back before my french licence the way brexit is going icon_morning20coffee coeuredelion
