french registering a 1976 suzuki kettle

Hi nearly finished renovating the kettle,just need the paint and should be done bought it 6 yrs ago from a man in Cannes and he gave me loads of bills etc,found a coc in with the papers but it has a big red line through it ,is this ok?Also wanted to know about if with it being over 40 yrs old I need to change the headlight and Speedo as the bike is UK registered.Will photo the Cox and post it later,the boss has said teas ready!!!!!! A 1976 bike will not have a CoC, but the good news is that it will be easy to register through FFVE. No need to change speedo or headlight, but nowadays it is a slow process.
Any bike with three cylinders has one too many.....................

Steve Walsh,they are nice bikes but very heavy for my spindly legs

Interesting document , but it would be easier to do it through FFVE.

I thought the same,didn't think they had the coc before 1996 ish but the bloke who sold me the bike had a couple of 6 cylinder CBX Honda's originally uk but French reg,will have a think as still a bit to do yet.coeurdelion

He probably did the CBXs via FFVE as well, cant see an reason for trying it any other way, like through DRIRE (DREAL). A total pain in the butt which I've had to do for newer vehicles which pre dated CoC.

The local 'Agency' for ANTS in Bagneres was happy to do the FFVE bit for my Landrover, if it looks daunting try that route first, €60 seems cheap to me.......
